SHANNON LEA DOYLE
Shannon Lea Doyle is an award winning set and costume designer based in Toronto. A powerful storyteller, Shannon's designs are sculptural and work to deepen the visual language of any performance. She is inspired by collaborations with other theatre artists, creating new work and reimagining classic texts and musicals. Her work as an artist in community encompasses teaching at the university level, consulting theatre companies on sustainability and production processes, event design and grant writing. She holds a BFA in Sculpture and Installation from OCAD University and studied scenography in the Soulpepper Academy under the mentorship of Lorenzo Savoini. Over the course of her career she has become a mentor to many other designers, from whom she is also learning. She is a founder of Triga Creative: a design collective raising the profile of ecoscenography in live performance. Shannon is an emerging production designer for film and is an associate member of The Directors Guild of Canada. Shannon is a full member of The Associated Designers of Canada, IATSE ADC 659.
