Hailing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canadian baritone Jayden Burrows is currently based in Montreal where he recently graduated from the Schulich School of Music at McGill University. Jayden is a big believer in the power of crossover work as an opera singer, performing in a number of musicals and operas both as a student and as a child. He cannot wait to bring Elegies to life with the rest of the talented performers brought in to Opera5. Recent engagements include: Pandolfe in Massenet’s Cendrillon, Cadmus in Handel’s Semele, Mr. Gobineau in Menotti’s The Medium, Soloist in Opera McGill’s ‘and the World Goes Round and Sondheim at Segal, and Bass Soloist in the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra’s production of Handel’s Messiah and Dixit Dominus.
